This website contains over 6000 DICOM images of standard X-rays of pediatric bones. It was created to provide
examples of standard radiographs of a pediatric skeleton, referenced by a patient's age and sex.
How to use
- Choose a body part by clicking on the red dot on the skeleton.
- Scroll to the patient's age. The age is grouped into weeks (1-5 weeks), months (1.5-33 months) and years (3-21 years).
- Choose between male or female patients of the desired age. R means right, L means left, BL means bilateral when applicable.
- The DICOM image will appear on the right. Navigate to other views of the same patient using the thumbnails, arrows or keyboard arrow keys.
- Use Windows/Level, Pan/Zoom and Reset buttons to adjust/zoom images as needed.

The age ranges used above are approximate. The Xrays are taken from real clinical cases and are considered diagnostic. Some of them may
contain accessory/non-standard views in addition to the routine views. Soft tissue abnormalities like mild swelling may be present. X-rays
may contain normal variants.
Fast internet connection is strongly advised. The website is designed to be used on a PC and may be limited when viewed on mobile devices.
